Elite Hardscapes,143 South 1320 East, Lindon, UT 84042 (801) 649-8837. Elite Hardscapes is looking to fill 30 Landscape Laborer Positions in Salt Lake City and Utah Counties. This is a temporary, fulltime position starting on 03/15/25 and ending on 12/15/2025. Job description: General landscaping tasks using hand tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels, etc. Typical tasks include any combination of: digging, raking, leveling soil surfaces, moving dirt, preparing ground for landscaping features. Dig holes using hand tools up to a max depth/width of 3 ft. to plant prepare ground for landscaping features. Snow removal using blowers & shovels. Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all types of weather. Involves extensive standing, sitting or walking. Involves frequent stooping or bending. Involves repetitive movements.. Possibility of performance based raise, bonuses, overtime and Saturdays as required. Transportation provided to multiple worksites from central location in Lindon, UT. 60 minutes of unpaid breaks throughout the day. Daily hours may vary between start and end times listed depending on weather or job assignments Terms and Conditions of Employment: $20.26 to $25.00 per hour. Minimum of 40 hours per week - M-F (with a possibility of Sat.), 8:00:00 AM to 6:00:00 PM (schedules may vary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate is $30.39 to $37.50. Possibility of Performance based raise. On the job training provided. Housing: If requested, employer may assist non-local workers securing optional worker-paid lodging (not to exceed fair market value, based on number of occupants; cost TBD). Housing costs paid directly to landlord and are not payroll deducted. Transportation: Employer will provide advance transportation costs for most economical common carrier for workers, either foreign or domestic, to place of employment from place of recruitment and reimburse subsistence when worker completes 50% of the work period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence to be reimbursed at a minimum amount of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per 24 hour period (with receipts) of travel. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, Equipment and Supplies: Employer will provide all tools and supplies, without charge or deposit, necessary to perform job duties. On the Job Training Provided. Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due; pay is Bi-Weekly.
