Camping World Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager in Lincolnshire, Illinois

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of infrastructure projects within our organization. As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Data Center, Network, and Cloud projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing resources, and ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, engineering, and vendors, to ensure that all project success criteria is accomplished.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including internal staff and external contractors/vendors. Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and RASIC.

  • Engage the team with project management expertise and confidence.

  • Closely monitor project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term deliverables.

  • Manage issues with urgency and document remediation plans within the project plan.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets. Proactively monitor project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project momentum and mitigate impact.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

  • Interact competently with vendors that are engaged.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

  • Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation for stakeholders and project sponsors. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including milestones, deliverables, and expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Experience in risk management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

General Compensation Disclosure:

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$98,490.00-$147,787.50 Annual
