The Director Global Sales Strategy will report to the Senior Director - Global sales strategy and will be responsible for the

planning, execution and successful implementation of strategic initiatives across the company.

The individual in this role will work closely with leaders across Zebra’s businesses, particularly (but not exclusively) within the Sales Organization (regions and functions) taking projects identified and prioritized with the CRO in order to drive

alignment and execution in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ad hoc projects

a. Lead and direct assigned strategic initiatives

b. Interview stakeholders and get alignment on initiative objectives and scope

c. Develop project approach by leveraging internal best practices

d. Make final decisions on project-related activities – meetings, workshops, studies, etc.

e. Ensure clear hand-off to execution leaders where appropriate

f. Track and report success metrics for the most complex active projects

g. Provide updates to stakeholders and team members on a regular basis to ensure on-going alignment

h. Gain support / approval for the final proposals through presentations to Zebra leaders

  1. Build a strong knowledge and understanding of market conditions and competitive environment

a. Develop market monitoring mechanisms to identify relevant red flags and opportunities

  1. Support, as needed, Corporate Strategic Process and Regional Alignment

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree -BA/BS degree required

  • 15+ years of professional experience to include Sales Strategy, Corporate Strategy, and/or Consulting

  • Proven ability to lead projects from concept through successful execution, including project approach, event planning and leadership, follow up, and communications

  • Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or in a strategy function in a corporation ideal

  • Fast learner, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills

  • Proven success in creating strong working relationships with business leaders on various levels and experience working in a matrix environment

  • Self-starter, collaborative team player with a hands-on, get- it-done attitude and strong work ethic

    Equivalencies:

  • Individuals with 8+ years of related experience, including an MBA degree and 3+ years

experience with a top consulting firm or Corporate Strategy will be considered

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA preferred

Salary: USD 170400.00 - USD 255600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
