Position Title: Human Resources Administrator

Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Position summary:
The Human Resources Administrator assist in the administration of the employee health, welfare and workers compensation programs.  This position acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefits-related programs and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.  This position also serves as the primary contact on worker's compensation and unemployment compensation benefits.  This position provides administrative support to the HR function as needed. 
Essential Functions:
  • Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments and terminations.  Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions
  • Acts as the primary resource to employees, for compliance issues relating to FMLA,  COBRA and Workers' Compensation
  • Assists with annual open enrollment for insurance benefits each year 
  • Process monthly billings from insurance providers.  Review billings for accuracy and resolves discrepancies with carriers
  • Strives to ensure employee understanding of benefit programs and counseling employees when situations arise
  • Acts as a resource for employees to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits
