Robertson Heating Supply Company Delivery Driver - Warehouse Associate in Lima, Ohio
Description:
Job requires a lot of lifting and moving large objects; must be able to lift at least 50lbs. You will load and unload incoming freight/products, stock shelves, and use handheld barcode scanners. Past experience operating a forklift a plus!
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday -- Friday; 7:30am -- 4:30pm
Primary Duties:
- Unload trucks
- Receive/check in products, report shortages, outages, damages
- Put stock away in proper pre-determined locations
- Maintain proper bin labeling
- Pull & stage customer orders, surplus, branch transfers
- Maintain safe, clean & organized warehouse
- Advise manager of recommendations for an efficient warehouse operation
- Help to control expenses
- Maintain proper operation of material handing equipment such as forklifts
- Assist in loading trucks
- Assist in pulling counter orders/requests
- State materials for tag-n-hold, clearance & defectives
Secondary Duties:
- Make local deliveries to contractors and job sites
- Loading and unloading of product
- Maintain safe, clean and organized truck
- Maintain proper operation of material handling and equipment such as forklifts
Must be able to safely and accurately drive box truck to make local customer deliveries
Qualifications:
Requirements: Applicant should be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record. A DOT physical card will be required (CDL not required). Must have at least 1 year of experience driving a 26 ft. box truck.
Pre-employment & random drug screens required; as well as background check.
