Swartz Restoration and Emergency Services Construction Carpenter in Lima, Ohio
Swartz Restoration & Emergency Services is looking for full-time skilled Carpenters to play a crucial role in completing scopes of work with quality and service in mind. We are an emergency services contractor dedicated to the reconstruction of homes and businesses that have been damaged by fire, water, smoke, and other disasters to their pre-loss condition.

*This is a FULL-TIME position- 40 hours/week
*YEAR-ROUND Work, NO Seasonal Layoffs
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record
- A minimum of 5 years of proven on-the-job residential carpentry and 5 years of remodeling experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and an extensive criminal background check if hired for the position. (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors)
- Your home address must be within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH
- Skills and experience necessary to perform residential carpentry processes.
- A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles, building materials, and construction processes
- A professional appearance and attitude
- Good physical condition; the ability to lift, carry, push & pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform reconstruction duties effectively, and timely with little to no supervision
- Perform multiple tasks related to carpentry: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, etc.
- Follow the scope of work, communicate any issues/changes to the project manager
- Safely and effectively operate equipment and power tools as a professional craftsmen
- Complete tasks related to electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, casework, trim, drywall, etc.
- On-Call responsibilities - 1 week of each month you are required to be on call to respond to after-hours and weekend emergency calls
- Produce a quality work which consistently meets the company's standards and expectations
- Function and adapt to time-sensitive, high-stress environments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules
