Job Title: Warehouse Lead
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Lead , where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our shipping/receiving warehouse. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of warehouse associates, delegating tasks, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. You will also be involved in picking, packaging, and receiving customer order items, managing inventory, implementing process improvements, and maintaining shipping records. This role requires working Monday to Friday with the last Saturday of each month due to inventory requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of warehouse associates, motivating them to achieve and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Identify staffing needs and delegate tasks based on pick-pack-ship workflow demands.
Oversee warehouse picking, packing, and shipping of sales orders by setting expectations and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain and manage accurate WIP inventory and shipping records.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Train new warehouse associates and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.
Address departmental inquiries or requests and resolve any order fulfillment issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse environment.
Assist with planning and leading departmental and continuous improvement projects.
Assist with troubleshooting and root cause identification for shipping errors and corrective/preventative action initiatives.
Contribute to creating, improving, and training on SOPs and assist in 5s implementation and audits.
Backup Warehouse Associate 1, 2, & 3 roles.
Follow step-by-step instructions and adjust to a fast-paced environment.
Complete projects on time using project management software.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Libertyville, Illinois.
Shift/Pay:
- 1st shift 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday ( $22-27.00 per hour )

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
