Kelly Services Machine Maintenance Technician in Libertyville, Illinois
Kelly is seeking a dedicated Shift Maintenance Technician to join our premier client in Libertyville, IL, providing crucial maintenance support to buildings, injection molding machines, and automation equipment as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Pay $25 - $30
8 hour day shift
Responsibilities
Maintenance Support: Provide maintenance support for buildings, injection molding machines, and automation equipment.
Policy Compliance: Support and maintain all company policies, including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
Installation & Preventative Maintenance: Install and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment such as closing machines and feeder bowls.
Equipment Reconditioning: Recondition used equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production, under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.
Safety Authority: Authorized to take out of service any machine or equipment that is deemed unsafe or would further deteriorate with continued use.
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems.
Preventative Maintenance: Experience in installing and performing preventative maintenance on injection molding machines.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recondition used equipment.
Safety Compliance: Strong commitment to safety, with the authority to shut down unsafe equipment.
ISO Standards: Familiarity with ISO Standards and Health and Safety Requirements.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and collaborate with the maintenance team.
