Job Description
Insight Global has an immediate opening for an experienced Cloud Architect. The role of the Cloud Architect is to work with the business, functional, and technical teams to define, document, educate, implement, and support cloud-based solutions to meet business objectives. As a cloud architect you will work with business, functional, and technical teams throughout the design and implementation of objectives to ensure that the overall composition of the solution meets the goals of the Architecture team and its business sponsors.
In this role, you will be working with the cloud center of excellence to move the organization from a traditional data center to Azure. You will conduct design reviews of new and existing architectures, create reference architectures and standards to enable effective solution delivery, design solutions for performance optimization, and design automation solutions for reusability and consistency.

Skills and Requirements
Experience architecting and developing scalable, distributed or web-based applications and architecture experience
Experience with some or all of these cloud concepts: Infrastructure as a Service, Serverless Architecture, Container Architecture, Platform as a Service, Storage, Infrastructure as Code, and Identity and Access Management
Experience designing solutions using the Azure suite of PaaS offerings such as Application Gateway, APIM, Azure AKS, Azure AD B2C, Azure Cosmos, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, etc
Experience provisioningand managingAzureInfrastructureusing automation
Experience migrating applications to the Azure cloud
Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think out of the box
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and present to internal team members as well as business stakeholders and enjoys working with others in a collaborative fashion * Experience using Terraform to perform infrastructure as code preferred null
