Aerotek CNC Mill Machinist in Liberty Lake, Washington

Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, prototype, and established processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment to run production and prototype parts according to blueprints

  • Develop new work instructions for prototype parts

  • Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool offsets

  • Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling

  • Shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2-5 years in CNC Mill set-up and machining

  • Experience with various machine tool controls (G-M Codes and Mazatrol a plus)

  • Knowledge of blue print reading and working knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations for product dimensioning

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control

  • Experience with calipers and machining tools

  • Knowledge of CAD software and prototype machining
