Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, prototype, and established processes.
Responsibilities
Set up equipment to run production and prototype parts according to blueprints
Develop new work instructions for prototype parts
Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool offsets
Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling
Shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2-5 years in CNC Mill set-up and machining
Experience with various machine tool controls (G-M Codes and Mazatrol a plus)
Knowledge of blue print reading and working knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing
Ability to perform mathematical calculations for product dimensioning
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control
Experience with calipers and machining tools
Knowledge of CAD software and prototype machining
