Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, prototype, and established processes. This role requires a high degree of precision and expertise in operating and programming CNC milling machines.
Responsibilities
Set up equipment to run production and/or prototype parts according to blueprints.
Develop new work instructions for prototype parts.
Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool off-sets.
Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.
Conduct shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2-5+ years in CNC Mill set-up and machining.
Experience with various machine tool controls (G-M Codes & Mazatrol a plus).
Knowledge of blue print reading and a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of mathematical formulas needed to calculate product dimensioning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Quality assurance.
Blueprint reading.
Experience with CAD software.
Prototype machining.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
Proficiency with calipers and other precision measurement tools.
Experience with Haas machines.
