Meridell Achievement Center is a nationally recognized 134-bed private residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral and neurobehavioral problems. Registered Nurse (RN) key responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process. To assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care. To administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician. To ensure safety and provide management and crisis intervention strategies. Patients served include children and adolescents.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Texas (or eligible to receive or renew)

  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
