Mag Aerospace Technical Sourcer in Lexington Park, Maryland

MAG Aerospace is looking to hire a skilled technical sourcer to assist with the sourcing and hiring of candidates for specialized technical positions. In this role, you will source and interact with potential candidates online, develop talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, and set up interviews. You may also be required to manage the candidate database and record hiring conversion rates.

An ideal candidate will enhance the organizations ability to profile, isolate, attract, assess, and highly talented, elusive, and experienced individuals into top candidates for hire.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Play an essential role in tracking industry events, technology trends, and changes within the employment landscape which may impact existing best practices and/or short- and long-term needs.
  • Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create sourcing strategies - Build candidate profile, discuss search strategies, developing effective strategies and channels for sourcing candidates.
  • Conduct thorough screen with candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications and ensure timely and accurate documentation in applicant tracking system (ATS) for OFCCP.
  • Deliver market data to team members, increasing understanding of the market at any point in time, or in any location.
  • Coordinate and Schedule candidate interviews with Hiring managers and other invested parties.
  • Professionally interacting with potential candidates on professional networks and social media.
  • Identify niche sourcing events (for examples, recruiting events, career fairs, professional conferences
  • Communicating with industry partners for candidate referrals.
  • Leverage technical and business knowledge to thoroughly qualify candidates through resume screening, phone and video interviews, and other assessment techniques.
  • Creating talent pipelines for current and future hires.
  • Managing the companys candidate database and using the ATS to measure and record conversion rates.
  • Effectively manage the candidate pipeline to ensure continued identification and movement of candidates using candidate relationship development activities, programs, and communication strategies

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with online and offline recruiting techniques.
  • Ability to locate and engage passive candidates using Linkedin Recruiter, Boolean sourcing, and all other alternative digital search techniques, job boards and social media platforms.
  • Ability to apply practical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in relevant office software and database systems.
  • Ability to conduct interviews in different communication styles and methods.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your mentorship has led to improved outcomes, a positive candidate experience, while earning the respect of your peers and clients.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and employees. Proven ability to build relationships and engage all stakeholders to arrive at optimal outcomes.
  • Experience with intake calls, sourcing, maintaining a positive customer experience/engagement, conflict management, and creative out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education And Experience

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three+ years of experience technical sourcing or recruiting within a U.S. governme t contracting environment.

Desired Requirements

  • Proficient with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
  • Former Military (Any branch)
  • DoD Secret Clearance
