ManTech Program Management Analyst, Journeyman in Lexington Park, Maryland

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Management Analyst, Journeyman to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing program, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems, providing recommendations to the client.

  • This position is responsible for providing analysis across a variety of areas within the program.

  • This position will participate in or provide support to the Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to which they are assigned.

  • This position will collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical and financial data as it relates to acquisition and program activities.

  • This position is responsible for tracking program/project status and schedules, applying policies and procedures for financial planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BA) or Bachelor of Art (BA) in Business, Management, Technical, or Scientific area is required with a minimum of four (4) years of recent, relevant experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline is required; two (2) of those four years must include experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development, OR, an Associate of Art (AA), plus an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience for a total of eight (8) years of relevant experience, OR, A High School diploma or GED and six (6) additional years of recent and relevant years of experience for a total of ten (10) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree

  • Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs

  • Must have demonstrated experience in program/project management support, earned value management, and schedule

  • Must have experience working in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word

  • Must have experience updating/maintaining project schedules using MS Project or other standard scheduling software

  • Experience with Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), and Office of the Secretary of the Navy (OSD) policy and documentation related to Planning, Programming, and Budget System (PPBS), Military Interdepartmental Procurement Request (MIPR), work requests, requisitions, Contract data requirement list (CDRL) and DD Form 254 is required

  • This position requires some travel Jacksonville, NC - Camp LeJeune. – up to 50%

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract

Physical Requirements:

  • Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
