Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with one of the most innovative gaming companies in the nation. The Software Engineer will be responsible for joining a large team to design and develop custom software solutions that support business operations and B2B partners. This individual is required to participate on a scrum team to deliver on mutually supported goals and coordinate efforts with the team and additional stakeholders. The Software Engineer should be able to maintain and utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices while building custom software solutions that other developers and external business partners will use, design and participate in developing front-end application and back-end business services interaction protocols, and interpret and develop meaningful test plans and coordinate with quality assurance engineers to build, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and other testing tools. Ideally, we are looking for an organized, self-driven problem solver to join the organization to support both day-to-day operations and specialty development projects. This is a full-time permanent role with an employee-focused, innovative company based out of the Louisville, KY area.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer

* Professional experience coding Java on the backend within the Spring or Springboot framework

* Experience working professionally with Angular, React or Preact on the front end

* 2+ years of web automation experience, including web service automation

* Experience developing consumer-facing applications Experience developing in OOP and MVC/MVVM patterns

Experience with Serverless technologies

Experience working professionally within an Agile scrum team

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts (CI /CD)

Experience in the gaming, racing, or gambling industry null
