Job Summary
Kentucky State Entomologist Office in the Department of Entomology in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the University of Kentucky is looking for a laboratory technician senior. The incumbent will collaborate with members of the department on surveillance and outreach to prevent the spread of invasive pests such as the spotted lanternfly (SLF).

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills are desirable. Interest in advancing your career through training and/or graduate education is encouraged.

Preferred Education/Experience
A degree in Entomology, Biology, or related fields; experience in surveillance and outreach, data collection, analysis, and preparing them for presentation and publications.
