Solar Energy Solutions Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative in Lexington, Kentucky

Solar Energy Solutions is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, engaging directly with potential customers in the Lexington area and beyond to promote and sell our innovative solar energy solutions for residential applications.

Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain relationships with clients, identify their energy needs, and effectively present tailored solar solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new clients and develop relationships with potential customers in the field

  • Conduct on-site assessments to understand customer energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions

  • Deliver presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits and savings of solar energy systems

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales effectively

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of SES's product offerings and the solar energy market

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction

  • Document customer interactions and progress in our CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, or home improvement industries

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales

  • Understanding of renewable energy products and financing options is preferred

  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
