Churchill McGee Construction Superintendent in Lexington, Kentucky
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial construction projects. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising the construction site, coordinating, and scheduling subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Primary Duties:Supervise the construction site and ensure that all work is being completed according to plans, specifications, and codes.Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.Ensure that all workers and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and guidelines.Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.Monitor and report on project progress, including any delays or issues that may arise.Review all construction-related documentation, such as contracts, invoices, and change orders, ensuring that they are within budget and meet project specificationsCommunicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.Interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.Consult with inspection authorities and conduct regular reviews of the construction site to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues.Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.Qualifications:Five (5) + years’ commercial construction experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and similar programsExcellent written/oral communication skillsAbility to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, communication, collaboration, and building teamworkProficiency in scheduling software and photography.Firm understanding of the commercial construction industry and processesAbility to lift 50 pounds and operate heavy equipmentCompetitive Salary and Benefit Package for Proven LeadersJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid time offLife and DisabilitySimple IRA with employer matchPerformance BonusesCell phone allowanceVehicle allowanceMileage reimbursementSchedule:Monday - Friday on-site8-hour shiftDay shiftEvenings and Weekends as neededWork Location: This role is an in-person office position and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a passionate team, interact with clients and colleagues face-to-face, and contribute to our vibrant office culture.License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute:Lexington, KYWillingness to travel:50% (Required)
