Description
As a Residential Outside Sales Representative at ABC Home and Commercial, you will promote and sell our services directly to homeowners. Your role is crucial in expanding our customer base by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that align with our diverse home services. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster strong customer relationships to drive sales growth and achieve company objectives.
This position will cover the Rockwall, TX territory and report to the Tyler, TX ABC location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate products and service features, advantages, and benefits; identify customer needs and expectations.
- Educate prospects and customers on the value of ABC services.
- Responsible for achieving new sales growth goals and meeting quotas.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; conduct follow-up phone calls and visits as needed.
- Develop cross-divisional sales opportunities, particularly with Add-On Sales of products and services.
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly before, during, and after the sales call.
Requirements
::: {bind="html: Job.Requirements"} - Previous outside sales experience is preferred. - Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen and understand customer concerns. - Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, tablets, and computers. - Valid Texas Driver's License. - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. - Must have proper documentation to work in the US.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to drive a vehicle with standard or automatic gear and enter and exit a truck or car.
- Ability to walk for periods of time in extreme temperatures including outdoors.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. may be required.
- Wears respirator according to OSHA requirements.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Ability to access confined spaces like crawlspaces and attics.
Driver's Responsibilities:
- Using a company vehicle drives to destinations listed on the daily route.
- Responsible for the maintenance of company vehicle such as tire conditions, tire replacement whenever needed, checks for condition of brakes, gets oil change done in a timely basis, etc.
- Follow safety protocols while driving, respects driving regulations and codes and reports all work related injuries immediately to direct supervisor.
- Complies with vehicle usage policy agreement.
- Maintain good driving record.
- Must maintain an active Texas Drivers license and submit copy of renewed license to HR.
Salary:
- Base pay: $3,200 per month
