Job Title: Control Panel Technician

Job Description

Assembly of electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, and power and water applications. The electrical enclosures we build will require the mounting of electronic control hardware into the enclosure as defined by our standards and practices. Termination of input and output signals (I/O) from the electronic control hardware to termination blocks. This requires accurately measuring wire lengths based on the appropriate wire color per I/O channel, stripping the insulation off of the wire, and landing each end of the wire under screw terminals and tightening. These terminals are small and packed tightly together in a small area requiring dexterity and discipline.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lewisville, Texas.

Work Environment

Candidate will be working at a workstation where they will have to reach, bend, crouch, occasionally lift 50 lbs, and have the option to sit or stand. The work area is non-climate controlled, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM (Monday to Friday), but often shifts to 6 AM to 3 PM during the summer due to the heat. The company is currently working on making the entire facility climate controlled. The valve department is already climate controlled. Must be able to work 6 AM to 5 PM when needed for overtime.
