Job Summary
Responsible for care of outside grounds and cleaning of maintenance areas of the Hospital, campus and satellite facilities.
Job Duties
Keeps campus mowed, trimmed, weeds pulled, leaves raked and trash and debris cleaned up outside and inside maintenance areas.
Completes work orders as assigned for minor repair of lawn and snow equipment and changing and or cleaning of air filters in facility.
Boxes, labels, loads and keeps records of red bag waste per regulations.
Consistently strives to be a productive member of the institution and provides a good example when dealing with patients and team members of the health systems.
Demonstrates effective communication skills with health care workers and management during performance of work orders and special environmental needs.
Prioritizes and makes decisions when normal working conditions change due to weather and environmental changes around campus.
Participates in continuing education achieves and maintains professional competence to support departmental and organizational goals.
