Garland Resort is accepting applications for a Room Attendant/Housekeeper. This is a seasonal position April - October

Duties and Requirements of the Job:

• Completes board in a timely manner according to set cleaning times for each specific room style.
• Completes inventory of all room supplies after each departure and notifies management of any discrepancies.
• Cleans room with only the provided chemicals in the correctly labeled bottles.
• Sets up room according to department standards provided in training and in continued training.
• Follow safety procedures for using any chemicals or equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and surfaces, as well as for your own safety.
• Report items that are in need of major repairs to your supervisor.
• Keep your work area clean. All housekeeping carts and vehicles need to be clean and stocked at the end of your shift.
• All vehicles need to be parked in the designated location at the end of your shift. Vehicles need to be locked and keys returned to the lock box.
• Deliver any items requested by guests to rooms.
• Treat all internal and external guests with kindness and patience.
• Complete any tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Personal Skills and Characteristics Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• Must be able to communicate clearly to managers and other personnel

Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• Be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
