LC State invites applications for the position of Program Advisor.
Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: \$47,500 - \$53,000
Degree Required:Bachelor\'s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and to develop strong partnerships
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master\'s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Experience in student counseling, development, education
- Experience in Higher Education
Responsibilities:
- Advise prospective and in-program HEC (Healthcare Education Center) students including non-LC State credit evaluation for transfer students.
- Act as a primary information source for regional students interested in all HEC programs.
- Database management for student files and programs within institutional databases and information management systems.
- Assist with scheduling and catalog/publication information for HEC programs.
- Hold advising office hours and conduct routine advising/recruitment workshops.
- Assist with the development of marketing, advising (including curriculum plans) & web materials for prospective and admitted HEC students.
- Serve as liaison to education institutions support of articulation and partnership pathways.
- Assist with drafting of articulation agreements and MOU/MOA.
- Field general HEC phone (Advising Center) and email inquiries.
- Coordinate with academic and clinical partners regarding advising and recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with division staff and faculty to ensure accurate advising and student progression.
- Assist with NHS assessment needs as necessary.
- Facilitate marketing, recruitment, and retention activities at distant sites (e.g., healthcare and education institutions in CDA, southern Idaho, western Washington, etc.).
- Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
- Other duties as assigned.
