Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Lab Operations

The role

Due to continued growth within the Mars Science and Diagnostic division, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee all project functions for our growing European Laboratory Operations initiative. You will be involved in all stages of the project life cycle and will cover lab integrations, greenfield launches, product launches and process enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end lab operation project activities, including scope, budget, risks, timelines, deliverables, and communication to support project delivery in a global and dynamic environment.

  • Provide strategic leadership and consultation throughout the project life cycle, including planning, designing, documenting, integrating, communication, reporting, change management, incident management, and configuration management.

  • Develop project plans and roadmaps and ensures that project deliverables are in line with the business requirements, delivered on schedule, and meeting the quality standards defined.

  • Identify and prioritise project requirements in line with business objectives and procedures.

  • Create appropriate sub-plans including quality assurance, resource, procurement and change management plans.

  • Coordinate with and facilitate other relevant work groups.

  • Regular communication and project updates to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Define, monitor, and report on key project metrics.

Experience and skill set required:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the healthcare or science industry.

  • C1 or business level of English.

  • Fluency in German is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Effective listener and ability to communicate project needs and activities to relevant stakeholders.

  • Competency in project management applications, tools, concepts, and methodologies.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be able to travel as needed to meet the project needs.

Work Experience
