The Disaster Recovery Analyst will responsible for gathering, managing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans to ensure timely recovery in the event of a catastrophic event resulting in a partial/full lose of a data center. Working alongside the IT, operations, other departments, and acquisitions to identify critical systems and processes, develop recovery strategies, and test the effectiveness of the plans. Primary Responsibilities of the Disaster Recovery Analyst :
Disaster Recovery Planning: o Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans for critical business functions. o Advise on potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Testing and Maintenance: o Assist in disaster recovery exercises to validate the effectiveness of plans and identify areas for improvement. o Maintain and update disaster recovery plans as needed to reflect changes in technology, processes, or regulatory requirements.
Vendor Management: o Manage vendor information of vendors providing services contained in disaster recovery plans, such as data backup and cloud services.
Incident Response: o Coordinate incident response activities in the event of a disaster or emergency. o Activate disaster recovery plans and manage the recovery process.
Training and Awareness: o Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on disaster recovery procedures and their roles in the event of an emergency. o Promote awareness of disaster recovery best practices and encourage employee participation in drills and exercises.

Required Qualifications of the Disaster Recovery Analyst :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications of the Disaster Recovery Analyst :
Experience with cloud-based disaster recovery solutions.
Familiarity with data backup and recovery technologies.
Experience with incident response and crisis management
