Our client, a leader in aerospace technology, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler III, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly of high-pressure oxygen cylinders. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and strong problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler III
Location: Lenexa, KS
Pay Range: $19 - $21 per hour
What's the Job?
Utilize hand tools such as torque wrenches and allen wrenches for precision assembly tasks.
Employ measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers, to ensure products meet specifications.
Follow blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process.
Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to maintain product integrity and safety.
What's Needed?
High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a diploma.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a repetitive environment.
Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule, Monday to Thursday, with potential for overtime.
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by regulatory standards.
