TitleGeneral Labor - Traffic Control (Leitchfield, KY) Description

The general laborer will load and unload supplies/equipment for company trucks and set up/take down traffic control devices out on roads and jobsites.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Make sure trucks are loaded with proper equipment for set tasks.
• Set-up signs, cones, etc. around the work area to divert traffic.
• Works out in the field performing flagging duties for traffic control.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment.
• Ensure all safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Maintenance, repair and installation of crash cushion and impact attenuators
• Assist in TMA Build
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks, both manually and with the use of equipment

Position Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Driver's License required - Let the Recruiter know if you have a CDL license and you may be eligible for a different role as well.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evening shifts as required and Weekends
• Ability to travel out of town during the week and on Weekends.
• Ability to successfully pass ATSSA Flagger, NSC defensive Driving and other Company provided training classes.
• Must be able to read and write English
