Onsite Light Duty Tire Technician
WHAT'S THE JOB?
Are you ready to join the rapidly growing Light Duty Tire Maintenance Program at Bob Sumerel Tire? As an Onsite Light Duty Tire Technician at Bob Sumerel, you will utilize state-of-the-art computer technology and tooling to support last mile delivery operations for many large companies. Here you will perform a variety of maintenance inspections and repairs on tire and wheel end systems.
As an Onsite Light Duty Tire Technician, you are where the rubber meets the road ensuring safe operation and on time delivery. You will work out of a dedicated service vehicle and report directly to customers facilities to support tire needs. You are trusted to work independently and efficiently to ensure all vehicles are road ready for the next route.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate Service Truck in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform daily inspections of assigned vehicles.
- Document inspections and completed repairs using app-based technology.
- Complete tire repairs, replacements, and alignments on site at customers locations.
- Primary sizes include 16", 17" and 19.5" tires.
- Participate in on call after hours emergency service rotation.
4-10 shifts with flexible start times between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm.
or 5- 8 hour shift.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of tire installation experience.
- Must be willing and able to work independently outdoors and in non climate controlled environments.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Fluent in app based I-Phone use.
- Technology savvy.
