We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Caregiver to provide full-time companionship and support to a 90-year-old gentleman. This role requires being a constant presence, ensuring safety, and offering assistance with daily tasks. The client values independence but requires support due to memory loss and frequent falls.
Responsibilities:
Provide full-time companionship, acting as his “shadow” throughout the day
Monitor and assist to prevent falls and ensure safety, especially when walking or using the bathroom
Help with dressing and making sure he stays hydrated
Assist with pets, as needed.
Support him in maintaining independence while ensuring his well-being
Be available for minimal travel and occasional overnight stays at his nearby property
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a caregiver, nurse, or companion
Medical certification is a plus
Physically able to lift and assist with mobility
Patient, calm, and adaptable
Comfortable with dogs
Monday through Friday, 10 am - 7 pm
