Responsibilities

The Maintenance Department is looking to fill the role of Maintenance Specialist in the Lee's Summit, Missouri facility. The maintenance specialist is of a higher skill level than a Trainee and is expected to display some skills in all areas. The role is expected to perform their duties and to assist in training lower skill level maintenance personnel as required on the job. The Lee's Summit facility is one of the primary manufacturing sites for producing customized thin-wall injection molded containers, lids, overcaps and custom packaging solutions for branded and private label food and consumer product companies all over the world. IPL is the trusted innovation partner to some of the biggest brands in the world and by working closely with customers to design and develop the right solution, millions of people around the world use our products every day.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 12 hours at one time

• working weekends

• Mechanical Maintenance (2 years of experience is required)

• Electrical (2 years of experience is required)

• read a multimeter (2 years of experience is required)

• schematics (2 years of experience is required)

• troubleshoot (2 years of experience is required)

• relays (2 years of experience is required)

• switches (2 years of experience is required)

• sensors (2 years of experience is required)
