Job Summary and Qualifications
This position performs routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including procedures in surgery, in accordance with the departmental policy and procedure manual and the Radiologist’s request, providing exams of acceptable technical quality.
This position requires the ability to interact with patients, physicians and personnel on a frequent basis in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner.
The technologist in this department provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 and 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 65 years of age and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
What qualifications you will need:
Must be currently enrolled in a Radiology Program. Must have one year of related experience in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
