Summary

Working within the Recruitment team you will provide direct recruitment support to managers in respect to the recruitment of all team members including Managerial, IT Technical, Operational & Specialist roles in the UK and Ireland. This will include working directly with business managers for certain positions to ensuring minimising cost without impacting quality of candidate or time to hire.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Prioritising recruitment activity to ensure highest impact vacancies are hired first.

  • Minimising cost to hire without impacting quality of candidate or time to hire by avoiding agency use where possible

  • Using candidate search skills and resources to minimise agency spend in the business and proactively headhunting suitable candidates, including use of social media, LinkedIn, employee referral scheme etc.

  • Designing and placing adverts ensuring the most effective recruitment advertising approaches are taken.

  • Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of applicant tracking system and ensuring it is used to its maximum potential to support the recruitment function

  • Liaising with agencies, maintenance of the PSL and building relationships

  • Providing accurate and timely weekly reporting from the applicant tracking system and other tracking spreadsheets.

  • Provide advice and/or training to managers in the correct application of recruitment policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring hiring managers adhere to the company standard recruitment process.

  • Ensuring candidates receive a positive and consistent experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Provide input to and work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure recruitment activities. Provide regular and adhoc reporting on recruitment activities and programs (e.g., cost per hire, time to fill).

  • Identify recruitment sources within the recruitment plan, including temporary agencies, recruitment agencies, universities and colleges, industry associations, etc.

Requirements

To achieve success in this varied and exciting role, you will have exceptional attention to detail, a creative and adaptive mind, and ability to look after a wide variety of vacancies. We will also need someone to have experience in the following:

  • Previous accountability for a portfolio of vacancies

  • Solid experience of working within a Recruitment Agency or within a similar role

  • Prior experience in managerial/technical recruitment

  • Exceptionally skilled in candidate approach and search techniques

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems

  • Understanding of management information requirements

  • Considerable experience of interviewing and selection techniques including telephone and face to face interviewing as well as assessment centres and psychometric testing

  • Knowledge of job boards, posting and advertising vacancies to maximise potential

Education

· University undergraduate degree is preferred

· CIPD qualification is preferred
