Stantec, a globally recognised leader in water and natural resources, is seeking a talented & ambitious Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Leeds or Manchester. We partner with key clients as strategic advisors, setting the gold standard in the industry according to NCE listings.
As our client relationships continue to grow and we secure new programmes of work, including our appointment to Yorkshire Water's Storm Overflow Alliance for AMP 8, we now have an opportunity for a Principal Process Engineer to join us as we grow.
In this pivotal role, you'll play a leading part in delivering ground-breaking water projects. You'll leverage your technical expertise to support project managers and ensure high-level execution – meeting cost, schedule, and quality objectives while exceeding client expectations.
You will also be involved in mentoring & developing of team of Process Engineers in Leeds and nurturing strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams throughout the business.
About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who have a strong background in Process Engineering in the Water/Wastewater industry and you'll excel in the role if you possess:
A degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent) and a passion for the water industry.
Proven experience leading and developing project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
The ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions and guide project execution effectively.
Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience managing staff and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
