The Powdercoater applies layers of powder paint onto various wheelchair components using powder coating system.

Our Operations department in Lebanon, TN is now looking for a Powdercoater.
Key Tasks
Utilize equipment to apply powder coating to product wheelchair components.
Load and unload racks with wheelchair parts.
Monitor powder coating system to ensure the desired quality standards are met.
Preparation and setup of various colors.
Determine root cause of coating quality problems and implement remedy. Communicate issues, status or remedy and/or
improvement opportunities regarding coatings.
Assist in maintaining environmental and safety standards. Responsible for respirator training.
Perform preventative maintenance to equipment, responsible for cleaning and maintaining spray guns and nozzles.
Follows safety guidelines to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with PPE requirements.
Maintain accurate records of coating parameters and oven settings to ensure paint quality

Your Background
High school diploma or GED, preferred
3 to 5 years of dry powder application
In-depth knowledge of the powder-coating process and equipment
Proficient in coating system controls and delivery systems
Capable of following correct process to maintain adequate quality control
