The Operations Manager is important in changing somebody's life for the better, every day. This position will be responsible for executing activities and improvements that support our business objectives in safety, quality, delivery and cost. The Operations Manager will develop a team to achieve our production objectives and deliver our medical devices to our customers and ultimately our end users. In addition to maintaining the day-to-day operations, the Operations Manager must be able to improve our existing processes through systematic problem solving and root cause analysis (RCA) while ensuring other members of the team develop these same skills. Develop, manage, and supervise area managers. Develop, measure, and improve against KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.Identify improvement projects, investments, and training needed to maintain and improve in these four areas. Serve as a member of the leadership team on the site modeling Permobil values and a continuous improvement mindset. Ensure safety of all personnel within the facility through building a strong safety culture and modeling safety leadership behavior. Identify areas of improvement and lead projects that will improve our cost of goods sold in line with our business strategy. Build a well-trained and motivated staff. Identify and escalate maintenance and building issues. Ensure plant housekeeping standards are maintained. Develop and hold account operating budgets and recommend plant capital expenditures. Improve our quality system through production and maintain compliance to ISO standards. Work closely with managers and their teams to promote and build a positive and productive work environment, teamwork, strong work relationships, trust, morale, and retention. Serve as a member of the leadership team on the site modeling Permobil values and a continuous improvement mindset. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration/management, operation management, or related field 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience in a lean organization. 3 years' experience working within an ISO certified QMS. Project management certificate with relevant experience. Knowledge of quality systems and standards. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, organizational, and conflict management skills. Knowledge of business, finance, and management principles. Knowledge of human resource principles and practices. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency with customer service/order tracking systems. Integrity, honesty, and high ethical standards Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 annually, paid bi-weekly. Schedule: Monday - Friday Vacation or PTO: During initial year of employment: Up to 80 hours of vacation, which will be prorated based upon start date. After initial year of employment, earn 136 vacation hours. Sick Time: Per Washington State law, one hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked, with the ability to roll over up to 144 hours into the nex
