Shift time will be 6AM – 4:30PM Monday – Thursday, OT on Friday

Discover Impactful Work:
As a Material Handler, you will prepare and kit materials for the production departments. You will safely carry out the warehouse process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and work orders as they relate to material handling, equipment operating, and packaging goods.
A day in the Life:
·Work in a warehouse environment where you will receive and fill orders in a safe, accurate and timely manner including placing all incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in the appropriate staging, shipping, receiving or storage locations while adhering to company SOP’s and WID’s
·Use tools and equipment such as, but not limited to, computers, handheld scanners, tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and swing reaches
·Follow all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.
·Maintain accurate inventory in all designated warehouses and locations
·Ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized
·Use strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards by cooperating with upstream and downstream departments to implement mutual inspection, find and correct quality errors, record, and report problems in a timely manner
·Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update Oracle system accordingly
·Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
·Effectively work as part of a team in the warehouse process and assist with training and mentoring co-workers
·Focus on your development through timely and proactive completion of training
·Adhere to your schedule to ensure production goals are met
·Other duties as assigned
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
·Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment including various fork-lifts, scissor lifts, and other similar equipment or become certified through company training
·Ability to work in a fast-paced regulated warehouse environment up to 12 hours a day with additional overtime when necessary
• Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted
·General understanding of PPE, MSDS’s and ERG (preferred)
·Experience in using Oracle, MS Excel, MS Word (preferred)
·Inventory control experience (preferred)
·Valid Drivers License
·Excellent organizational and communication skills
·Detail oriented
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
·Ability to stand, bend, or twist for extended periods of time, and move about the Warehouse areas as needed. Warehouse areas include Production Airlock which is requires specific gowning.
·Ability to work with both hands to lift, handle, and manipulate inventory items. Must be able to work with small hand tools like scanners and tape guns and some powered equipment.
·Ability to kit, count, and package small inventory items for production.
·Objects of various sizes and shapes will be handled or moved on table surfaces, storage bins and carts or racks. Rarely team lifting will be required to handle objects over 50 pounds or objects of an awkward shape.
·Specific gowning requirements include, but are not limited to: safety vest, steel toe shoes
- Ability to read and understand written materials that include words, pictures, and numbers
