Leviton Manager, Inventory Control in Lebanon, Tennessee

About the role Responsible for the management and supervision of all functions of inventory control, and location management. Accountable for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and storage of all inventories. Responsibilities Direct cycle count and complementary inventory accuracy programs daily and compile report results. Answer all customer complaints on discrepancies in a timely manner Provide monthly reports as assigned to facility and corporate personnel Direct all internal QA functions Participate in Management Review Meetings Troubleshoot item/location problems for order processing (OVM) and the receiving departments Maintain and update item master files Responsible for checking and resolving all inventory discrepancies Review item movement on a quarterly basis and make the necessary changes to pick slot assignments Research and evaluate the SC217 report (adjustments) on a daily basis and submit a weekly report on un-reconciled adjustments Research daily picking errors and provide a weekly report on picking accuracy Ensure that all non-conforming products is destroyed or returned to manufacturing and that no questionable product is returned to inventory from the RGA department Provide daily oversight for inventory accuracy/item location type problems for order release, picking, and replenishment, shipping and receiving departments Coordinate with all departments to ensure all facility accuracy, loss prevention, quality and service objectives are met Participate in the A.I.P. program- research and report findings on location and inventory issues Establish goals and directives for all warehouse personnel as it relates to inventory accuracy, error awareness, location management, loss prevention, and quality control Create, validate and provide direction for updates to procedures, policy, and job functions as necessary Conduct employee reviews and provide counseling and disciplinary action when required Maintain accurate and complete employee records Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Accounting or logistics background required Minimum of three years experience in warehousing or a related environment with specific experience in inventory control and management Computer experience essential Skills & Abilities Detail oriented with highly developed management, organizational and interaction skills Line supervision of inventory control, QA and location management Position requires daily interaction with all levels of facility personnel Interaction with corporate management and staff as well as personnel from other Leviton facilities on a regular basis Must have excellent sight, hearing and verbal communication skills both in person and on the telephone, along with the eye, hand and body coordination necessary to efficiently operate any assigned equipment within the department and/or warehouse. Physical Demands: Must be able to physically lift 70 pounds, walk from location to location, sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and/or climb Travel Up to 10% Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
