Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Medical Equipment Cleaner position. The Equipment Cleaner cleans and refurbishes various types of medical equipment in an efficient, accurate manner. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clean / disinfect / refurbish and perform preventive maintenance on various types of medical equipment Perform functional testing on various types of medical equipment Re-certify medical equipment to CMS and accreditation body standards Document that cleaned equipment needs accreditation body standards in TIMS Equipment Tracking System (ETS) Notes Bag serviced medical equipment for shipping and place Clean, Test, Bag, Tag (CTBT) tag on equipment showing it is ready for patient use Research maintenance records in TIMS ETS Communicate with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management regarding the servicing of equipment Back up Route Delivery Driver Efficiently organize delivery route on a daily basis Delivers durable medical equipment, as well as other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery Protects patient PHI per HIPAA regulations Handles the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the designated rental return area Provides patient/client orientation instructing on the proper use of equipment Works with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Possess the ability to repair, maintain, clean, and package various types of medical equipment Possess strong mechanical skills Accurately enter data into computer Read repair orders, manuals, computer screen, etc. Ability to lift equipment from floor to work bench weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis Perform numerous tasks requiring manual dexterity (e.g. grasp, push, pull, lift, use hand and power tools and other fine manipulations with hands, etc.) Communicate information accurately by telephone and in person using good customer service skills Work in an environment with fumes, odors, dust, gas, and poor ventilation Complete tasks and solve problems independently with little supervision Company Description: Founded in 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.
