Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Lebanon, Ohio

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the heavy manufacturing industry, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The role is for a Human Resources (HR) Manager who will be the cornerstone for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process, which includes sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.

• Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees.

• Foster a positive work environment and ensure effective employee relations by resolving conflicts and addressing employee grievances.

• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance.

• Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

• Implement performance management processes to enhance employee productivity and development.

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Maintain HR records and compile reports as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Human Resources role within the Heavy Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with Canadian Payroll

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software

• Skilled in managing Benefit Functions

• Expertise in Compensation Administration

• Strong understanding of Compliance in HR practices

• Proven ability in managing Employee Relations

• Must hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals

• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
