PART TWO:FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
*
Position Objective
*
Ensures all APD campus buildings are kept clean, safe and welcoming for patients and employees. All employees will not be designated to one specific area/building on their shift. Float positions will require an employee fill in whenever scheduling conflicts arise. Performs other duties as assigned.
*
Performance Expectation
Dry mops and wet mops non-carpeted floors.
Vacuums carpeted floor.
Strips and wax floors as assigned.
Clean furnishings, floors and equipment with proper cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Dust window sills, blinds, furniture ect.
Empties trash and desposes recycling.
Clean sinks, tubs, showers, mirrors, and similar equipment.
Replenish soap, paper towels, and other disposable items as needed.
Wash walls, ceilings and windows.
Stock clean linen in laundry room and other areas as needed.
Transport soiled linens to laundry room and weigh, using the company vehicle when necessary.
Transport trash to dumpster using the company vehicle when necessary.
Wash beds with disinfectant cleaner, remake beds with clean linen.
Notify (ES) Manager when cleaning supplies are low.
Notify (ES) Manager of mechanical failures or unsafe conditions.
Maintain confidentiality of costumers at all times.
Other duties as assigned by Environmental Services Heads.
Cross train in OR and all outer Clinics on campus in order to cover as needed.
Assist Laundry Technician as assigned.
Cleans patient discharge rooms as assigned.
