General Fabricator B:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Conducts spot welding. Assist Fabrication Tech A when necessary. Fabricates and assembles structural metal products. Verifies conformance of work-piece to specifications, using square ruler and measuring tape. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations. Cross-training and knowledge share with peers. Other miscellaneous duties as required to be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work independently and train others if required. Demonstrates shop math skills. Can interpret blueprints, specifications. Production layouts, technical drawings, work order, instructions, etc. Previous work related experience and or any vocational training preferred.
