**[Job Summary: [The Stewart Grill Crew collaborates to provide an appealing, delicious food service in Stewart Lodge. All team members must clean, sanitize, organize, and restock the kitchen areas. The various positions in Stewart Grill are specific; however, all team members need basic knowledge of all the areas in this department. The willingness to help your team members when necessary is imperative for the department's success. [Below is a description of the various positions at the Stewart Grill. All positions require strong communication skills with a positive customer service attitude. The ability to multi-task and plan is crucial. Closing tasks can take up to an hour to perform.

  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Treat our guests as you would expect to be treated.
  • Stewart Grill opens at 8:00 a.m.; therefore, arriving promptly at the scheduled time is required.
  • We are open every day throughout the season; therefore, weekends and holidays are required workdays.
  • Responsible for your scheduled shift. If an emergency occurs, you will be expected to find a replacement. The Ticket supervisor must be notified of any change.

[Grill and Fry Cooks:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}

  • Responsible for all items cooked in grill and fry areas, burgers, chicken, chili, French fries, etc. Daily setup and prep are necessary.
  • Responsible for taking customers orders and and serving the orders. Daily setup and prep are necessary for this area. A positive attitude with good customer service skills is required.

  • Check out the cash bag from the office and set up your station for the day.
  • Ring up food and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Be able to count back change to the customer.
  • Efficiently use a cash register/computer and credit card machine.
  • At the end of your shift, you must balance your till to the transactions and prepare your deposit.
  • Help to keep the cafeteria and dining areas cleared and cleaned.
  • Stock beverages in the cooler and packaged food items.
  • Be willing to help in other departments when asked.

Responsible for washing and cleaning all service cookware and the kitchen area.
