Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position in our FVH Therapies department for a Physical Therapist (PT) with an emphasis given to sports rehabilitation/coverage. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients using a variety of techniques according to established standards of care. Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patients' functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provides comprehensive patient treatment including but not limited to therapeutic exercise and manual techniques to promote healing, mobility, and return of functional activity.
40 hours per week 8:00am-5:00pm; community athletic events attendance; rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.
Must pass the National Physical Therapy Exam administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist license.
CPR certification and Iowa Mandatory Reporter training are required as an employee.
