Intermountain Healthcare Education Instructor in Layton, Utah
Responsible for the education of specific audience as related to specialty. Responsible to teach/instruct using appropriate and approved curriculum for specific audience.
Teaches approved curriculum and reviews/revises as appropriate.
Keeps materials up-to-date and adequately stocked.
Maintains material and supplies, cleaning as necessary and storing appropriately.
Organizes meeting space and meeting set-up needs.
Completes all tracking/monitoring documentation as needed.
Reviews evaluation forms and other feedback and responds appropriately to improve the program.
Works with their supervisor to do an overall course review and make appropriate revisions to the curriculum and class materials at appropriate intervals and whenever requested.
Arrives promptly including time for room and audiovisual preparation prior to classes.
Comes well prepared to teach each session.
Demonstrated ability to instruct others.

Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Six months previous healthcare field experience.
As applicable: BLS Certification

Childbirth Educator Instructor Certification
- or -
First Aid Instructor Certification
- or -
Fitness Instructor Certification
