Analyst I, Regional Inventory Control

POSITION PROFILE

Acquires and analyzes data and information regarding product procurement, distribution, and delivery within assigned geography. Based on data analysis, coordinates with Supply Chain and Area leadership within assigned geography to maximize revenue generation and minimize order carry over. Partners with corporate demand planning to maintain adequate inventory levels to support the sales organization. Ensures compliance of inventory policies and procedures within the organization. Acts as the primary communication resource for Supply Chain to the sales organization regarding equipment availability, inventory constraints and shortages. Managers, monitor, and approve showroom, Trials, Loaners, and Short-Term Rental placements for assigned geography. Responsible for upwards of 3M in showroom, trial, loaner, and training inventory in sales areas managed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

�· Monitors inventory to directly support all Regional Fulfillment Centers, Supply Distribution Centers, Equipment Distribution Centers, Configuration Centers, and Sales areas within assigned geography.

�· Provides Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) with sales forecast data via the Large Order Request Form process, (LORF).

�· Supervises the LORF Equipment acquisition process and provides equipment availability to the Sales Organization via weekly meetings.

�· Partners with Sales and Purchasing to secure inventory for road map accounts.

�· Participate in weekly area and road map calls with the sales organization providing equipment availability.

�· Assists CC location in all inventory related buckets.

�· Provide status information on inventory shortages and constraints to the sales community.

�· Manage temp placements to include Showroom floors, Trials, Loaners, and Short-Term Rentals.

�· Partners with CC Management to ensure CC budgets are met.

�· Ensures all designated targets/goals are met for the position.

�· Processes RMA Pick-ups for Failed Sales, Trials & Short-Term rentals.

�· Processes conversions for Trials, Show floors.

�· Partners with end-of-life Sr. Manager to identify promo gear and the development of promotion pricing.

�· Manage CC Loaner pools.

�· Serves as a resource to both internal and external customers by obtaining and sharing knowledge and information to enhance the ability of our customers to achieve an expected result.

�· Provides direct assistance to management on any special project needs.

�· Provides training to the sales community on logistics policy, procedure, and reporting.

�· Proactively manages inventory levels to maintain budget integrity.

�· Participates in cross-functional and interdepartmental meetings.

�· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

�· Four-year College degree (preferably in Business, Logistics or Math) or equivalent work experience is required.

�· Must possess five years of related experience and/or training.

�· Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.

�· Proficiency in Oracle Discoverer a plus.

�· Strong knowledge of warehousing and distribution systems is required.

�· Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts, etc.)
