Fresenius Medical Care North America Product Manager Critical Care Fluids in Lawrence, Massachusetts
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Directs marketing direction for products. Coordinates market plan and/or launch programs to create demand and maximize sales of a specific product. Evaluates brand performance. Provides briefs and oversees development and production of marketing materials. Recommends product development and/or enhancements as a result of brand performance and feedback from customers and/or sales force.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Holistic support of one or more critical care Sterile Fluid products with regards to Product Management and Marketing
Work with global and regional Sales and Marketing teams to drive successful commercialization of critical care therapies and products, in specific US CKRT market
Oversee global market needs, trends and business opportunities
Initiation of new product developments, product innovations and changes based on market requirements and needs
Sustaining and control of the product portfolio (Product Lifecycle Management)
Translate business strategy in product roadmap
Support Engineering teams with market, customer and patient view as well as treatment understanding in product development and sustaining activities
Contact person for the R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales departments for selected products or markets in respective product group
Perform market profitability analysis
Support creation of product and therapy-specific information and communication material to support the Sales teams, Marketing teams and training activities on global, regional and country level
Perform analysis of the competitor's performance, product portfolio, strategy and communication concepts to define countermeasures and to develop counterarguments for Sales
Stay up to date in regard to product and therapy-specific know-how by continuous exchange with experts, users, doctors, technicians, sales, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelors degreein the field of natural or engineering science or a related discipline. Advanced degree a plus.
5 or more years' related experience in Product Management, Marketing or R&D.
Knowledge about Product Management, Upstream Marketing
Medical knowledge about AKI Therapies e.g. CRRT
Knowledge about US CKRT market is an advantage
Knowledge about general business processes and Project Management
Knowledge about application of disposables e.g. Sterile Fluids products in therapies
Knowledge about registration process of medicinal products or medical devices is an advantage
Knowledge about usability requirements
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
