Quality Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Management Representative for Quality System.
- Coordinate Internal Audits, ISO and Customer Audits.
- Representative for Manger Review meetings.
- Monthly Staff Meetings to review quality metrics, training, quality concerns, etc.
- Facilitate corrective actions required. Do verification of action completion and effectiveness.
- Facilitate customer complaint communication, investigation, and resolution.
- Document RCA and corrective actions.
- Issue C1Stomer RMA/Credit for defective products related to customer complaints.
- Maintain Procedures/Work Instructions/Forms (Documents and document master lists update revisions).
- Document Control for ECNs.
- Create ECNs as required.
- Review PSW and PPAP for customer submission as requested by Engineering.
- Review requests for compliance statements received from customers. Complete fonns and reply when applicable (ie; RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, etc.)
- Provide guidance on acceptable and reject items to QC Inspectors, Production and initiate questions on requirements not known when necessary.
- Document and communicate process and product standards for Production use.
- Communicate with Plant Manager, Foreman, Crew Leader, Operators, QC Technician, Inspectors and others as required when issues are identified in-process to facilitate correction.
- Review Tool Maintenance Request received from QC Technician and provide supporting information to Plant Manager and Project Engineer as needed.
- Training, work direction, and effectiveness evaluations of QC Technician job performance. Issue warnings as deemed require
- initiate supplier CARs as requested by Purchasing.

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality related field or equivalent work experience (A minimum of four years' experience in a Quality Assurance position such as: Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, Quality Director or Quality Manager).
- ASQ certifications such as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor are desirable.
- Proficient with SPC, FMEA's, Geometric Tolerancing, Metrology and Calibration
- ISO 9000 Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Courses with certificates of successful completion in such disciplines as: Statistics, SPC, FMEA, Geometric Tolerancing, Drafting, Calibration, Metrology, Supervision are a plus.
