Job DescriptionOverviewThe Associate Human Resources Manager will provide HR leadership and functional expertise as the site HR lead in Albany, NY. Albany is a facility that includes both production and sales workgroups, and this role will also support other warehouse and sales locations within the market as well. The Associate HR Manager will play a key role in executing our Talent, Culture and Capability agenda to drive local business initiatives and results. Responsibilities* Lead and fully execute key initiatives that support the overall PBNA and North Division People strategy* Work with the broader HR team to drive strategic initiatives and coach site Leadership team to deliver people plan as a meaningful lever of business performance.* Proactively diagnose, develop solutions and implement action plans to drive the people agenda.* Understand the intricacies of supporting a 24-hour Manufacturing and Warehouse environment, as well as the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective. * Deliver critical HR support in a complex union environment, including Labor and Employee Relations, contract negotiations, and other union relations activities* Lead and participate in Market & Division level Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives* Design and execute localized staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs (including production roles). Partner with local leaders to proactively ensure staffing needs are met. * Assists leadership in integrated talent management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans* Guide leaders and employees regarding Company policies, values, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner* Must ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)* Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervisionCompensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.QualificationsEducational Experience:* Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or other related field preferred* Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or Human Resources Management preferredWork Experience:* A minimum of 3 years of prior Human Resources Generalist* Experience supporting front-line, field-based client groups is required; Practicing HR in a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred* Union/Labor Relations experience strongly preferredSkills & Capabilities:* Experience with most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; labor relations; performance management; leadership development; training)* Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items* Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred* Strong employee relations skills and comfortable working in ambiguous situations* Must possess executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority* Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise* Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics* Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
