Male Associates, a multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm in the Northeast, is seeking to hire an Electrical Designer/Drafter at our NY headquarters. Work with a team that will encourage skill growth and development.Primary Responsibilities:- Drafting of design drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.- Prepare design documents.- Assist in preparing engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.- Use computer aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.- Use engineering software in aspects of Electrical design.- Work with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion.- Ensure acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.- Coordinate aspects of project documentation completion within company and externally with clients and other design professionals.- Coordinate design work with related engineering disciplines.- Assist Engineers in performance studies, which may include site work and data collection.Qualifications:- Associated degree in Drafting or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.- Zero to ten (0 - 10) years of drafting or design experience.- Training and experience using AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.- Valid driver's license required.Pay Range: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour, paid biweekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.C.T.
