Position: Warehouse/Material Handler

Location: Las Vegas (area 215 and Jones Blvd.)

Pay: $18.00/per hour

Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Forklift: Verifiable Forklift Certification

The Warehouse Associate ensures the organized, timely, and accurate handling of goods, contributing to the company’s impeccable service delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience : 1-3 years prior Material Handler and Forklift (Cherry-picker, Reach and Sit-down) work experience in a warehouse setting.

Skills : Basic understanding of material handling, inventory, and general warehouse operations, able to safely operate forklifts, pallet jack, machinery, and good organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements : Capable of lifting heavy objects (30 to 50 lbs.) and standing for extended periods of time.

Attributes : Detail-oriented, punctual, and a team player.

Communication : Able to effectively communicate with team members and superiors.

Safety Consciousness : Always prioritize safety, understanding and adhering to all safety guidelines.

PPE: Steel toed shoes/boots required (all other PPE will be supplied)

Forklift: Verifiable Forklift Certification (1 – 3 years prior experience required)

Driver License: Current valid driver license

Essential Job Functions:

Inventory Management: Participate in regular inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.

Goods Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, pick, and store products in designated areas.

Procedure Adherence: Follow and understand company standard operating procedures, ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

Equipment Operation: Utilize warehouse machinery and equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring that all equipment is handled safely and maintained properly. In accordance with company safety policies, escalate all equipment that is not in good working order, condition, or repair.

Order Preparation: Assist in preparing goods for shipment, ensuring that each order is complete, correctly packed, and ready for timely delivery.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the warehouse environment is kept clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to optimize warehouse operations.

Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing training sessions and workshops to improve skills, stay updated with warehouse best practices, and enhance efficiency.

• Perform other duties assigned

• Work mandatory overtime as needed

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to lift or pull up to 30 pounds, sit, communicate, reach, manipulate objects, tools, or controls, climb ladders or onto trucks, and/or operate wire cutting machinery and forklifts. The position requires mobility, manual dexterity, and coordination 50% of the time. This position requires employees to walk on concrete or other hard floor (sometimes uneven) surfaces; stand continuously; pull heavy items in warehouse or yard; load and unload trucks from ground level or platform. There will be repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity; repetitive climbing; continuous repetitive kneeling and reaching overhead, above shoulder and below shoulder; twisting and bending.

Working Conditions: Warehouse environment. May be exposed to dust, heat, or cold, and other environment seasonal changes. Minimum physical exertion.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
